Deputy Commissioner Sandler discusses Stapleton waterfront project
He says they are working with EDC on the Stapleton waterfront, have had setbacks but hope to close soon, and will meet about the Castleton site.
Yeah, I would add we're excited to partner as well, and we work very closely with EDC, and we do a lot of projects that are joint projects, and we're working together on the Stapleton waterfront.
We've had some setbacks on the HPD project there, but I do think that we're in a place that we're hopefully going to be able to move forward soon.
kind of have figured things out with our state waterfront approvals such that we think that we can actually be closing that project soon.
And excited, I think we're going to be meeting about the Castleton site with your office in the coming weeks and excited to talk about that as well.
And any potential role for HPD on the various waterfront sites, I think we're happy to discuss.
And I think we want to do more work in Staten Island.
