Brewer asks DOP to report assessment needs for budget; Eusebio agrees to collaborate
Brewer asks DOP to let the chair know what it needs after reassessing programs so the council can address gaps in budget season. Eusebio says DOP will come back for support and stresses collective work through the NEON model.
Okay.
And the Department of Education, or whatever the hell it's called, New York City Public Schools, I hate that name.
Because it's a noun.
It makes no sense to me.
But anyway, do they help in some way with some of the programs that are for older students?
Or even younger students?
So from our history working with probation, we had a close relation with DOE.
And we're going back to the roots.
Because we actually had classrooms in some of our NEON sites.
That's a way how we supported not just people on probation, but also community members at large across the city.
So we are very much looking at assessing, as Commissioner indicated, but also looking at other things that are innovative, from AI to things that are more attractive to the people that we serve.
And what about housing?
