Chair asks about performance evaluations
Won asks how a vendor's community hiring record will be considered in future contract awards. Harry says failure to meet goals or make best efforts can be reflected in performance evaluations and future contract considerations.
How will a vendor's community hiring record be considered in performance evaluations on future contract awards?
Yeah, so...
Hello?
Hi.
Sorry, I'm just testing my mic.
Sorry, guys.
It works.
So the performance of, sorry, lost my train of thought.
The ability to meet the goals will be considered in a performance evaluation like many of the other factors, and it can be considered.
So if a vendor fails to meet their goals, fails to make best efforts, and is assessed penalties, those are the types of things that would definitely be considered in a performance evaluation and would be part of
their future contract as agencies consider performance evaluation and look at things like cautions, et cetera.
And so...
It will, if the vendor fails to do that, that will be reflected in their performance evaluation.
We would work with the agencies to make sure that those types of noncompliances are reflected in performance evaluations and any necessary disclosures, et cetera.
And then that information is always considered by contract or by agencies in any future contract award.
And so we do take seriously the compliance piece of this and wanting to make sure that people are meaningfully participating and trying to meet the community.
