How does OCH identify and engage small businesses in civic neighborhoods beyond vendors that are already
bidding on city contracts.
So our team has also been involved in a lot of vendor events like procurement fairs where we educate our MWBEs about the community hiring
program so that they understand how it works for city procurements that are subject to community hiring.
Additionally, we've done newsletter outreach through our agency partners, and we also publish our own newsletter that goes out on a quarterly basis.
So we try different ways from different mediums to reach out to the public of vendors.
