Chair asks G. Lee top priority and next report
Won asks G. Lee what her top operational priority is and what results to expect next quarter. G. Lee says her priority is building program infrastructure, including digital systems, vendor outreach, and strengthening the referral source network.
For OCH Executive Director Lee, since becoming Executive Director, what have you made your top operational priority and what updated results should this committee expect to see in the next quarterly report?
Thank you, Chair, for your question.
So my priority for our team is to continue building out the infrastructure of our program.
That includes, as Executive Director Lepar mentioned, finalizing and putting into place digital systems to improve data collection, tracking of community hiring goals,
Additionally, we want to broaden our vendor outreach.
As we've heard today, we see the importance and we recognize the importance of continuing to meet with our stakeholders and see how we can better support the job seekers across the five boroughs.
Additionally, we also want to strengthen our referral source network.
We recognize that they're key players to making community hiring a success.
So we are thinking through how to build out that structure to ensure that we're not just
growing the number of referral sources for referral sources sake, but just really thinking through how we can all work together and not compete off of one another for one community hiring opportunity.
