Banks asks about hurdles preventing complaint resolution

New York City Council · Oct 27, 2026 · starts 1:18:09 · 41 sec

Banks asks what main hurdles prevent outstanding complaints from being resolved. Trimble says it depends on the nature of the complaint. Significant leaks may require tracing or larger plumbing initiatives, and plastering work has significant delays, potentially six months.

Chris Banks

If a complaint is outstanding, what are the main hurdles or challenges that prevent the complaint from being resolved?

Eva Trimble

It depends on the nature of the complaint.

Eva Trimble

Again, similar to our conditions across our buildings, if it's a significant leak problem, it may be that we are tracing the leak, that we are working on a larger plumbing initiative.

Eva Trimble

It really depends on the specific issue.

Eva Trimble

As you know, we have a significant delay specifically to our plastering work.

Eva Trimble

So if the complaint is about plastering, they could be waiting six months or so for a plaster to come and make that repair.

Thank you.
