Banks asks if surveys assess RAD/PACT converted centers
Banks asks if surveys have been taken at centers converted to RAD/PACT to assess whether the experience has been good or bad. McKenzie says NYC Aging has not surveyed yet, but she has visited some converted centers and older adults were thrilled. She says the environment is greatly enhanced by RAD/PACT.
Oh, are there any surveys taken from these particular centers that have been converted over to Rad Pack?
Just to get a sense of if the experience has been good, bad.
We haven't taken a survey of it yet on the New York City aging side, but I can tell you, having visited some of the recently converted, the older adults were thrilled.
It is a much enhanced environment.
Early on, you mentioned some of the complaints and, you know,
Councilmember Hudson mentioned having floorboards coming up and holes in the ceilings and those types of things at some of the sites that she's visited.
The environment is greatly, greatly enhanced by the Rad Pack program.
And I'll say, as we're on our tour, the Rad Pack manager, whoever it is for that particular site, has also joined us on the tour.
They seem very invested in making sure that they're protecting the program.
property and also providing a great environment for the older adults.
So thus far, we're very pleased with what we see, but we'll continue to monitor.
Yeah, it would be nice if you can survey them.
I would love to hear what they have to say.
Absolutely.
Thank you, Chair.
Thank you.
