Zhuang asks how DFTA coordinates with NYCHA on ADA compliance
Zhuang asks how DFTA coordinates with NYCHA to ensure ADA compliance and make necessary changes. McKenzie says through capital enhancements and available funding. Zhuang asks for details on funding needed, how many centers are compliant, and costs. McKenzie says not at the moment; they would need to assess each site with NYCHA.
How is DFTA coordinated with NITRA Insure ADA compliant?
And make the necessary change.
Through the capital enhancements.
And again, if we're able to effect any projects that would allow us to be able to
to resolve the issue of ADA compliancy, we're willing to do that with the available funding.
And also, do you able to provide us all the detail, how much funding we need, how many center already ADM compliant, how many not, how much the cost?
Not at the moment.
Obviously, along with NYCHA, we'd have to look at the number of sites and what are the circumstances at each one of those sites to determine how much each project would cost, and then you would get an overall cost from that.
And we can also discuss with the council what that means.
There's different levels of compliance with ADA requirements, whether it's wheelchair accessibility or bathroom accessibility.
There's different components, and that would require different levels of scope.
So we'd have to do a pretty significant assessment of all the centers to determine the full need.
Thank you.
