Zhuang asks if all OACs on NYCHA campuses are ADA compliant. Trimble says no, they are not all ADA compliant. Zhuang asks if there is a plan to bring facilities up to standard. McKenzie says as many as possible, but it requires capital investment; interim measures are used where needed.
Are all OACs on NITRA campus ADA compliant?
No, they are not all ADA compliant.
Is there a plan in place to bring those facilities up to standard?
I'd say as many as possible.
Again, it would be a capital investment for some of the sites to be able to bring them up to ADA compliancy.
So for the sites that are not ADA compliant, we do work along with the older adults there to see if there are any interim measures that we need to put in place.
But the plan would be to make that investment, obviously, when funding is allotted and to continue with the projects.
