Brewer links pandemic and census outreach to four bills on agenda
Brewer says federal pandemic money and census outreach showed how vital ethnic media is for public health information. She lists the oversight topic and four bills: Intros 1127, 1128, 1129, and her preconsidered working-group bill on communication technologies.
Thank you very much.
And I think during the pandemic, some of the federal money helped a lot.
And you could see the difference because health information got out, and then you did a great job during the census doing the same.
So we know how important that media is.
In addition to oversight, we will be hearing four bills.
The first bill, Intro 1127, sponsored by Councilmember Williams.
In relation to mending and eliminating certain
reporting requirements within the New York City Charter and the Administrative Code of the City of New York.
Intro number 1128, also sponsored by Councilmember Williams, in relation to due dates of agency reports to the Council.
Intro 1129, in relation to agency transmissions of reports.
Of compliance with operational requirements and pre-considered intro, which I sponsored in relation to the creation of a working group to study agency use of communication technologies.
