I've been asking questions of all city agencies regarding the racial equity plans that you guys submitted.

So it says that the department is using internal data in a Deloitte study to identify recruitment strategies for EMT and firefighter candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.

What funding is included in the FY27 exec budget to support that work?

Yeah, I just want to know if any funding for this fiscal year is going towards identifying recruitment strategies for EMT and firefighter candidates.

You all reported that you're using internal data in a Deloitte study.

Sure, thank you.

Definitely for the Deloitte study, there will be a review of our most recent firefighter campaign, which we will begin hiring for in October.

So there's an after action analysis happening with that.

They will review some of our attrition mitigation programs that we

run throughout the onboarding for firefighter candidates.

They'll be looking at our PRB, personal review board.

So there's quite a bit of analysis that will be going, that will be included in the Deloitte research.

Okay, and is that reflected in the FY27 budget, like your recruitment efforts?

Our recruitment?

Yeah.

So the Deloitte study that we're talking about is reflected in our FY26 budget.

And so that was part of an OTPS adjustment that we got as part of the preliminary budget.

I'm confirming the exact dollar amount.

So there's no specific dollar amount.
