Chair Lee on schools struggling with enrollment
Lee asks whether any particular CUNY schools are struggling more with recruitment and enrollment. The Chancellor notes all schools experienced growth except Queens College, which has developed a new enrollment strategy.
Are there any particular CUNY schools that are, in comparison, struggling more than others in terms of recruitment, enrollment, and are there resources that are needed for those schools?

So, I mean, I'm going from last year.
We're still looking at how the full 26 is going to shape.
But the main enrollment growth was driven by the community colleges, right, which is
Good for us because a lot of those students are going to end up transferring to the four-year schools, right?
So that is a good trend now.
It's going to be a good trend moving forward.
Going from memory, I think last fall, all of the schools experienced enrollment growth, maybe with the exception of Queens College.
And I know that they put together a strategy to advance enrollment.
We've also, from the central office, have been working with some of the schools that had enrollment challenges
and tighter fiscal scenarios to support them with investment because clearly enrollment is the main driver of fiscal health for all of the campuses, right?
