Wilson asks for an update on the Midtown South mixed-use commitments for a kid-first district between 22nd and 25th Streets and two additional car-free blocks. Weidenhoff says DOT is exploring additional pedestrianization proposals for public workshops and is in planning stages for the kid-friendly proposal with BID colleagues.

So we are looking at additional opportunities to pedestrianize blocks of Broadway, and those will be...
proposals that we bring back to the public in the workshop stage of our capital redesign.

And then our team is working on the kind of kid-friendly proposal.
We're currently in the planning stages with our bid colleagues along the corridor and hope to have more to circle back on that soon.
