Won asks if the applicant has engaged with community groups beyond the community board, such as Court Square Civic, LIC Partnership, and local PTAs. Lobel confirms engagement has been limited to CB2 and surrounding building neighbors. Won notes the answer is no.
To my earlier question, have you engaged with the community outside of the community board and the people who have reached out to our office in the scent of your project?
Like, have you talked to Court Square Civic?
Have you talked to the Long Island City Partnership?
Have you talked to local PTAs?
To this point, it's been meetings with Land Use Committee at CB2, meetings with CB2, and a separate discussion with the neighbors from the surrounding building.
