Chair Hudson asks about re-inspection timelines and walkthrough averages
Hudson asks for the median time between failed inspection and re-inspection and average walkthroughs before approval. Dalton says DSS does not collect re-inspection data and reports an average of 1.7 inspections from start to finish for HRA-administered inspections.
I'm going to ask just a couple more questions and I'm going to turn it over to my colleagues.
What's the median time between a failed inspection and subsequent re-inspection?
This is another piece that we hope to have data on in the future, but we do not collect that data at this time.
Okay.
And then what is the average percentage of apartments which need a subsequent walkthrough to be approved for city FEPS?
take that.
So I think as we already stated, there's 1.7 is the number, there's the average inspections over the course of all the inspections.
So some go, some only need one.
And as the 1.7 would suggest, most don't need more than the two.
Okay.
And then what's the average number of walkthroughs conducted before a unit is approved for city FEPS?
I think that would be the 1.7 would be the similar metric we have at the moment.
In the future, we hope to have data that might be able to look at it in different ways.
Okay, great.
Thank you.
And then what's the median number?
Of inspections a unit undergoes before passing inspection.
So the last question was about re-inspection.
This is just about inspection.
Yeah, I think all we have is the one metric, which is 1.7 from start to finish.
And just to, again, underscore, we are only reporting here on the HRA-administered inspections, and so certainly for the broader universe, it could be fewer.
Okay.
All right.
Thank you.
All right.
