Dickey reports MyNYCHA app glitches and disappearing ticket numbers
Dickey says the app glitches and sometimes does not provide a work order number, while staff later tell her the number no longer exists. She says tickets are closed unexpectedly and residents do not know when workers will come.
Also, I would like to say there needs to be a better system because they say in the app, but when you go in there, it's like app glitches.
And sometimes you're not even able to like get the order number, the work order number.
And then when you go and try to read it, repeat the order number to them, they tell you that no longer exists.
And it's like, it's really frustrating because you sit in here.
And you don't know when somebody's going to come.
And then when you're expecting somebody to come, next thing you know, the ticket is closed.
So my experience with work orders are very like half of the time I'm unsuccessful and I'm left just to manage without.
Does that conclude your testimony?
Yes, I hope something can be fixed about this.
And like I said, I just really wish it was something better that we can do than to have tickets just keep piling up and no work to be done.
All right.
Does that complete your testimony, Ms.
Dickey?
Miss Dickey?
Miss Dickey?
Yes, that's incomplete.
I'm sorry.
My Wi-Fi was doing a little in and out.
Okay.
Does that complete your testimony?
Yes, it does.
Please stay on because I have some questions for you.
Okay?
No problem.
All right.
Thank you.
Now we will move next to Ms.
Layla Glasgow.
