What are DCAS's goals for the program in the future?

Do you have any specific goals for the future of this program?

Yes.

So what we're looking at is how do we build a pathways?

So the civil service pathways program directly lead into a full-time position.

We're looking at how do we carry that out for the other programs.

So for a public service core, it could be a short term.

A person may only be qualified for it because of the federal work study part of it for one semester.

So it worked with them and say, can they go into a

a summer internship program, somebody that's participating in a summer internship, can they then come back on as a PSE or later on transfer into, not transfer, but participate in the Civil Service Pathway Fellowship?

So we're trying to build out those clear pathways and educate the individuals that are participating in those programs so they know what pathways they can take if they have a keen interest in staying in city government.

So we're trying to just build that out more robustly.
