Narcisse asks about time from list to start and delays
Narcisse asks how long it takes from being reached on a list to starting the job; Porter says onboarding happens at agency level and DCAS supports streamlining exams.
After someone is reached on the list.
How long does it take to actually start the job?
Where are the biggest delays, background checks, medical exam, or agency's paperwork?
So that's a great question.
You know, at DCAS, we're here to support agency hiring needs through the administration of examination.
And once the scoring process is complete and that exam is ready for agency use, it's really dependent upon the agency's hiring need to request that list.
From DCAS to start their internal onboarding process.
You know, we work in a decentralized environment.
So each agency has their own HR department that manages the actual hiring of the candidate.
So, you know, it's kind of difficult for us to like pinpoint exactly where there may be, you know, situations at the agency level.
But at DCAS, we are working to streamline and expedite the examination process as much as possible.
And we're here to support agencies in the event that they have an immediate hiring need where they need DCAS support to either attract candidates and or to support, you know, a streamlined interview process.
We support them in that way.
