Palatnik details building program and community board support

New York City Council · Sep 23, 2026 · starts 0:07:34 · 54 sec

Palatnik presents a nine-story, 95-foot, 157,000-square-foot facility with 300 beds (240 skilled nursing, 60 assisted living) and 28 parking spaces. He says Councilmember Felder requested more parking and design changes, and Community Board 14 supports the application.

I should note that when we originally prepared the application, we presented it to Council Member Felder, and he was

very concerned about the number of parking spaces, which we increased at his suggestion, as well as a few other design changes that he put into the proposal that are here today in front of you.

I should also note we've met with Community Planning Board 14, who has supported the application.
