Kim Holland says CUNY needs resources to target students who back away
Holland welcomes advice on funding and says CUNY can identify which students are missing out. She says many students express interest but back away when they realize the cost, and CUNY needs to increase the share who actually depart.
So we would welcome any advice in that realm.
And we do think that there is a compelling case to be made for specifically for CUNY students to have these opportunities.
This is something that we think that we could also really specify which CUNY students are not getting these opportunities.
And, you know, as we're all.
Underscoring again and again, study abroad changes lives.
And that's critical, but we also have to ask ourselves whose lives are being changed and who is expressing interest but having to back away because they realize the reality
of financing these opportunities.
And so Stephen first described the vast numbers of students that come into his office and only a fraction of them actually wind up crossing that finish line and leaving from JFK.
But how can we make, how can we increase the success rate by telling these students that we have resources for them?
