Maloney presses for city-specific follow-up analysis
Maloney asks whether there will be any follow-up analysis or details. Lasry says the host committee will not do a city-specific analysis but can provide fan fest attendance numbers, including over one million at Rockefeller Center and 200,000 at the U.S. Tennis Center.
So there won't be any follow-up analysis or details?
We won't do a city-specific, because, again, as a regional committee, I think what we can see is the amount of people that we saw at the New York City Fan Festivals.
So for us, what we saw, and I can get the...
The amount of people that we had at the fan fests.
One second.
I do know that at Rock Center specific, there were over a million people that went to the Fan Village at Rock Center.
In my district.
It was, you know, kind of, again, one of the crown jewels.
I know we had 50,000 plus people at Central Park.
I think over 200,000 people at the U.S.
Tennis Center for Queens.
You know, Brooklyn, I think, again, also over, I think, 200,000 people.
Bronx and Staten Island, I believe for those were in the 20 plus thousand people.
So New York City, again, for the fan festivals outside of the stadium, a real, real big impact.
And it's, you know, again, I think always with this is.
We tried to blend into what was going on with the city, right?
And that's what makes New York unique.
It's also hard for us to measure the impact of the over 100, you know, the 180 viewing licenses that we help secure.
I think that was the most of any host city.
Just, again, trying to make sure that the entire region for whoever wanted to put on a watch party was able to.
