This bill would expand commercial delivery safety and training requirements to cover all two-wheeled devices, including mopeds and motorcycles.
Commercial delivery cyclists using bikes, e-bikes, and cargo bikes are already required to receive safety gear and occupational safety training, and we support the need to expand this coverage for workers who use mopeds, motorcycles, and scooters.
Which would further strengthen safety requirements covering more delivery devices used by workers.
We have suggestions for the safety requirements outlined in the proposed legislation, and we look forward to work.
