Kari Bailey presents Site 2 at 381 Arbutus Avenue
Bailey says 381 Arbutus Avenue was a pre-1975 single-family home destroyed by fire; the proposed amendment would remove a 60-by-90-foot DOS area to allow replacement in kind.
And the second site is 381 Arbutus Avenue.
It's located a few hundred feet south of Highland Boulevard.
This zoning lot was previously improved with a single family home, which was vested and built before DOS regulations were mapped on top of this home in 1975.
However,
The home has since been destroyed due to a fire and the site is currently vacant.
So taking this site history into account, the existing DOS boundary is proposed to remove a 60 foot by 90 foot area, which is shown here in the green circle,
to allow for the previously existing structure to be replaced in kind.
