Santosuosso asks about provider size and existing vs new contracts
Santosuosso asks about the mix of single-location vs multi-location providers and how many were existing vs new. Liss says they have a diverse mix, with majority previously contracting for 3K and pre-K.
I'm curious about the size of the providers that were contracted this year.
So do you have data around how many are single location providers versus a larger provider that might have multiple locations?
I don't know that we have that data yet available, but we do have a really diverse mix of providers.
We have, as you heard, many, many home-based providers who may be serving just a couple of 2K children alongside their other mixed-age enrollments.
And then we have single-site providers, independent organizations who are serving a classroom or two of 2K.
And then we do have larger providers who have multiple locations across the city who are serving 2K children in the locations inside the districts.
Okay.
And so do you have the data around how many were existing, sorry, had existing contracts with the city versus brand new providers via the 2K program?
The majority of providers were previously working with the city to offer 3K and pre-K.
We did see a smaller number of providers who opted through the RFI to newly contract with the city.
Okay.
I would love to see data as far as how many seats were in multiple network, multiple providers, home-based.
center-based, et cetera, as a breakdown when possible.
But I know you said November for that, right?
Yes, that's when we'll have preliminary enrollment data to share.
Okay.
