Joseph asks CUNY to publicize benefits of Seal
Joseph asks whether CUNY will publicize the benefits of earning the Seal once credit pathways are in motion. Vine says yes, CUNY is proud to help students save time and money toward degrees.
The next question is going to be tricky.
So we're going to work together to create this cohort and getting this out the door.
We're going to publicize it.
We're going to get the work done.
And when you do, do all of this.
You're going to publicize the benefits of earning a New York State Seal of Civic Readiness.
Is that something CUNY plans to do once everything is in motion?
Yes.
I would say that we are really proud of the opportunities that we create for New York City high school students and for New York City working adults to earn credit on their way into CUNY.
It saves them time and money on their path to a degree.
And we are always eager to make sure that people who are eligible are aware of that and able to take advantage of it and use it to benefit their education.
Thank you.
