Gennaro agrees the program needs more technology and DEP staffing
Gennaro says the hearing has shown that the program is too analog and needs more technology. He notes that the mayor controls DEP staffing levels and that the Council cannot simply add staff on its own.
Thank you.
Yeah, based on what I've heard today, I think that we certainly need more tech in the ultimate outcome of what happens here.
And, you know, this whole thing is like very analog.
And so, you know, tech is required.
You know, I wish I could wave a magic wand and give DEP more staff.
I can't do that.
You know, the mayor sets the staffing level for DEP.
You know, and I was saying the fact that, you know, some of the testimony is repetitive.
You know, everyone has their own, like, little slant on it that, you know, gives me better insight into which way.
We should go.
And this panel was very good in that regard.
And I appreciate you being here and your patience and waiting to testify.
Thank you all very much.
Thank you.
Adam?
I'm just saying James is a good name.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, I...
Yeah.
Okay.
Aaron Jacobs is the next panel.

Nice looking.
Yeah.
You know?
Check it out.
Do you think?
Yeah, it's nice.
Like a flourish to it, you know?
What?
Okay.
All right, so we're going to, yeah, we're going to start on Josh's side over here.
