Won asks where contractors have the greatest difficulty meeting hiring goals and what barriers exist. Harry says it is early and OCH does not yet have sector-specific analysis but will use data to inform training.
Where are contractors having the greatest difficulty meeting hiring goals and why?
And are there barriers related to available vacancies, required credentials, candidate preparation, recruitment process?
Practices or contracting funding and what is OCH doing to address them?
So because we are early on and many of these contractors still recently registered, we don't have all of the answers to that exactly, but we will continue to work with the providers to, or rather the employers, to understand what their hiring needs are, where
there are challenges and where they think that they might not be meeting their goals.
And if that's because of something that the city needs to improve upon, we'll use that data to inform how we are making sure that, say, we are increasing training opportunities.
And so we will continue to monitor that, but I don't have quite the sector-specific analysis on that yet.
