Abreu clarifies DOT-NYPD monthly meetings

New York City Council · Oct 27, 2026 · starts 0:53:46 · 30 sec

Abreu asks whether the monthly meetings Rivera mentioned are the Vision Zero Task Force. Rivera confirms, and Flynn adds there is also a separate monthly DOT-NYPD meeting to review the dashboard and specific locations.

Shaun Abreu

You mentioned monthly meetings.

Shaun Abreu

Are you referring to the task force?

Philip Rivera

Yes.

Shaun Abreu

Are those biweekly meetings?

Mike Flynn

So if I can add, in addition to the Vision Zero task force meetings, we have a specific DOT NYPD monthly meeting where we also talk through the dashboard in detail and look at whether there's specific locations that need additional.

Mike Flynn

So it's in addition.

Mike Flynn

We meet lots of times with lots of different groups, yes.

Shaun Abreu

All right.
