Banks asks average response time and prioritization for OAC repairs

New York City Council · Oct 27, 2026 · starts 1:04:18 · 57 sec

Banks asks about average response time for maintenance and repair requests at OACs and how they are prioritized. Trimble says the average response time is about 12 days. Repairs face similar prioritization as residential units, with leaks and flooding highest and life-health-safety conditions prioritized.

Chris Banks

NITRA has stated that the OAC staff report repairs through the CCC and may escalate to the neighborhood administrator if the ticket stays open past the scheduled date.

Chris Banks

What is the average response time for maintenance and repair requests at these OACs and how are they prioritized?

Eva Trimble

Thank you, Council Member.

Eva Trimble

Our average response time is about 12 days, and they face similar prioritization as our residential units.

Eva Trimble

So leaks from above, any type of flooding conditions are always some of the highest.

Eva Trimble

Anything that's a life health safety condition, things that are lower priority tend to be things like door hinges or something that's just not life health safety related.

Chris Banks

And we will also join my council on one.
