Brooks-Powers thanks Tucker and says she has requested a hearing on Rikers Island but it has not been approved due to safety, security, and technology concerns. She says she continues to advocate for it.

And actually just for the record, I have requested to have a hearing on Rikers Island.

Unfortunately, it has not been approved, but we continue to try to advocate for it because there are a lot of layers in terms of facilitating a hearing on Rikers Island in terms of safety, security, and technology as well.
