DOC describes doula services through Caribbean Women's Health Association
Greysock says DOC offers doula services at Rosie's through the Caribbean Women's Health Association. Doulas provide birth planning, breastfeeding education, newborn care, and pregnancy loss support twice weekly, serving 20 women and over 400 hours from January to June.
Through our partnership with the Caribbean Women's Health Association, the DOC offers doula services to individuals housed at Rose M.
Singer Center.
Doulas provide non-medical, physical, emotional, and informational support, including birth planning, breastfeeding education, newborn care, and support following pregnancy loss.
Services are offered twice weekly with labor and delivery support.
