Chair Hudson asks why Tillery incidents dropped and whether DHS visited
Hudson asks what caused the drop. Fellini credits a new provider, reassessments, transfers, and repairs. Dalton and Fellini say they have not visited Tillery; Hudson invites them.
And to what do you attribute the drop in all of these numbers?
I think a new agency brings the opportunity for a new perspective.
All the clients there were reassessed, which would be a normal course of business when there's a change in provider.
I think, you know, in doing that assessment, some clients whose needs were better met elsewhere were transferred.
There are also some repairs that the provider is doing to the building to try to improve the facilities.
So I think we've seen some...
improvements with the provider change that have likely contributed to the reduction.
And would you say that those are site configuration and daily operations?
Changes to site configuration and daily operations?
Daily operations for sure.
The site configuration is harder.
The building is the building.
It's a limited site.
Yeah.
So I'd have to look into what, if any, building changes were made.
Okay, fair, and thank you for that.
And have you all visited that site and met with residents and the staff at BRC?
I have not, no.
Commissioner?
No.
I have not either.
Okay.
I welcome you to visit.
I have been there since BRC has been there.
I was also there a few times when ICL was there, so happy to schedule some time to do that.
That's great.
I'll take that invitation.
