Chair Hudson reviews Tillery 911, complaint, and arrest data with DHS
Dalton provides Tillery data: 911 calls down 13% to 1,248 in FY26, assault/violence calls down 41% from peak, PD complaints down to 207, felony reports down to 21, and felony arrests down to 12.
And actually, if I can add in there, this one, we worked hard to make sure with the NYPD we're correct.
So I do have 911 PD incident complaints to report as well as arrests there to add to what the deputy commissioner provided if you'd like those.
Yes, please.
Yep.
And as you know, 911 is not just crime, it's medical and so on.
So 911 calls are down 13% from FY25.
The numbers in 26 were 1,248.
And in FY25, they were 1,429.
So this is the lowest 911 set of calls since FY22.
Still staying with 911, assault and violence calls are down 41% from their peak in FY24.
About a third of the calls are ambulance calls.
And then if you'd like to hear the PD complaint reports, these are incidents.
We love data, so please.
Crime incident data.
Okay, great.
Continue.
207 in FY26.
That's, again, the lowest since FY22.
The peak was 263 in FY24.
And felony reports fell from 36 in FY22 to 21 in FY26.
Sorry, the 207 in FY26 and 263 in FY24 were which types of calls?
Those were PD complaint calls.
I think about them as incident reports.
I think they call them PD complaints.
Okay.
And felonies also dropped.
Dropped, yeah.
RERAS dropped as well.
So 54 in FY26, that's the lowest in five years.
Felony arrests fell from 33 to 12.
