Epstein requests telehealth data by geography
Epstein requests telehealth data broken down by geography to see trends for the NYC Care population and identify barriers. Long agrees to provide the data.
I would love that data just to be helpful for us to be able to see what that trend is, if more people are doing it.
And if you have it by geographic, you know, like my colleague in the Bronx or my colleague in Brooklyn, we'd love to see kind of what that looks like and whether there's geographic trends for this population and if they're seeking more telehealth or if they're not.
And then figuring out what kind of what those barriers are to wanting it or having access to it.
Yeah, totally.
Just to, again, to say from my perspective, we offer it to everybody.
It's people's choice whether they want to take us up on that or whether they want to come in to see us.
And what oftentimes happens is so much of what we do requires a test.
So if you need to have your blood drawn or you need to have a mammogram or pap smear or something like that, I think from my patient's point of view, that's one of the reasons why they prefer to just even take time off work to come in to see me.
Because our model of care at New York City Health and Hospitals, which is very important to us, is a one-stop shop.
