Narcisse asks what resources would expand awareness; Jimenez on direct enrollment
Narcisse asks what additional resources would expand awareness among eligible New Yorkers. Jimenez cites continued CBO partnerships and direct enrollment with organizations already doing insurance screening, and Long stresses a unified message around 646-NYC-CARE.
Anyway, what additional resources would help expand awareness of New York City care among eligible New Yorkers?
What would help?
Continuing the community-based partnerships, which we are doing, is crucial.
And we're often looking at where are there areas we haven't reached already.
I think the other area I mentioned previously is direct enrollment.
So we'd love to partner with more organizations that are already doing health insurance screening because they're receiving the result of whether someone is eligible for NYC care or not.
And when we partner with them directly, it helps make it that much easier for folks to enroll in NYC care and then also puts us in more places around the city so that.
The access and availability is increased.
Just to say one more word on that, I think it's, as Jonathan's saying, we want to be everywhere, but we're going to be amplified if we can have our voices together.
And at the end of the day, we want people to know that anybody can call 646-NYC-CARE and enroll in the program or get the help that they need.
I'm just so worried about people.
They're scared, don't know what to do, or confused.
And I think of so many of my patients, I'm going to myself tell them, remember,
Be proud to have the card that you have.
646-MYC-CARE is your lifeline.
It'll always connect you back to us.
And now we're going to put you there telling them that.
646-SAMIC.
I'll see you in the Bronx tomorrow.
We got you.
You can do that in social media.
We can spread it because I'm sure that most of us will because guess what?
You're a doctor delivering the care.
There you go.
So who to trust?
