Brewer asks how Sidahmed will push agencies and track waivers
Brewer says agencies can become lax without leadership and asks how Sidahmed will monitor waivers and claims that agencies spend under $5,000. Sidahmed says he will learn from agencies and reduce friction.
I'm going to call on Council Member Wilson in a minute.
My other question, though, is just back to these agencies, because I assume that they've been kind of lax where there hasn't been any leadership in your agency.
So at the same time that you are, you know, talking roundtable to the publishers,
I work in agencies, just as Councilmember Ressler has, and they can get real lazy if nobody is pushing them.
I know exactly how that goes.
So I guess my question is, how are you going to work with these agencies?
I mean, do they qualify for the full mandate waiver?
Are they really under $5,000 for their advertising budget?
You know, are they, I don't, you know, they could not want to have to have any more mandates.
So they'll tell you it's $5,000.
And even though it's a lot larger, and then the number of agencies which have a full mandate waiver change per year, how do you keep track of them, et cetera.
