New York City Council · May 28, 2026 · starts 5:10:16 · 1 min

Chair Alexa Avilés asks for the number of individuals served through the Rapid Response Legal Collaborative in schools during the current fiscal year.

Luisa Linares

And then the Rapid Um Response Legal Collaborative, you've you've talked a little bit about that.

Luisa Linares

How many?

Luisa Linares

Can you tell me how many people have been served through the work for fiscal 2026 thus far?

Luisa Linares

Yes.

Luisa Linares

Can we once I'm just gonna get the numbers?

Luisa Linares

We came with numbers just in case.

Luisa Linares

Love that.

Luisa Linares

So through uh 20 um this year to date, I can tell you that on some of the KYR efforts that we've done, there have been 383 students supported, grades nine through ten.

Luisa Linares

In quarter two and quarter three of FY26, the collaborative screened about 90 individuals under the expanded DOE scope and provided legal services to 50 of them.

Luisa Linares

And I'm gonna circle back on the other bucket because there's two buckets of work that I just want to have in front of me.

Luisa Linares

The one that I walked you through is connected to the rapid response through your collaborative and schools.
