Chair Stevens Questions Partnership with Office of Mass Engagement
Chair Althea Stevens asks about MOIA's partnership with the newly created Office of Mass Engagement to support outreach and information sharing.
And just in the same vein as the last question, you know, I'm hoping that some of that uh translates into actual dollars there to support those programs, outreach, and things like that.
So I know that you may not know similarly to the last one if it's there yet, but if we can continue advocacy for that.
And then lastly, I know the mayor's office of mass engagement was newly created this year.
It received 2.8 million in baseline funding, started in fiscal 2027.
Um, can you talk a little bit about your partnership with them?
How you may uh use that office to help support some of the programming that you have.
Um yeah, yeah, I'm happy to say that I just spoke to them um again yesterday.
So we are um very much in close um communication and in lockstep in regards to us sharing information regarding immigrants as well as supporting them with um some forward facing information coordination and some outreach uh efforts that we've made um I know that we've partnered with them on on on a couple of things already and that partnership will continue.
We're also in the same building so we see each other on the elevators as well but we are working very closely with them and across teams not just one but you the whole office as a whole.
