Chair Stevens Questions Written Notification for Preventive Closures
Chair Althea Stevens asks if the four preventive service providers slated for closure have been notified in writing and when the 90-day transition clock begins.
And we're really that's why we the the partnership with Anthos is so critical because they provide that year of stabilization, and so we're hoping that that will continue.
I know Laura very well.
So 383 is what?
What is that number?
I'm sorry, so that is the number of youth non-permanent discharges.
Not if I'm correct, those are young people that left care, not to adopt gender unification or keyboard.
Ones who need help.
Okay.
Yeah.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, Councilman Rarua.
Um, I'm gonna do a lightning round just because I I know that there's a couple of folks who still want to ask a few questions.
I guess my first question um is just um just around the present preventative service of contract.
Have we notified uh that are being cut?
Have we notified those providers in writing yet?
Um, and that have they received the date of when those contracts will be ending?
And if not, when will that be going out?
So um, and I can be corrected.
We have not notified in writing yet.
Um, I did have an opportunity to touch face with each of the organization's leadership um yesterday, and um, we are waiting for um kind of final uh approval on the budget, and then we'll move forward with written um communication and then the timeline of the 90 days as stated earlier.
Okay, thank you.
